Watford Campus at Wall Hall

The School of Humanities and Education is based at the University's Watford Campus, which is set on a beautiful parkland site near the village of Aldenham. The gardens were designed by the famous landscape gardener Humphrey Repton, and there is a sculpture trail which was created as part of the Hertfordshire Arts in Public Places initiative.

At the centre of the campus is the eighteenth-century mansion, Wall Hall. Some staff offices are situated in this building and it is also used for teaching. In addition, the Watford campus has its own integrated library and computing centre, language laboratories and modern lecture theatres and seminar rooms. The campus has a bookshop, refectory, bar, Day Nursery, tennis court, multi-gym, playing fields and an outdoor swimming pool. It also has Halls of Residence, some of which were completed in 1993.
